3. The Lord Jesus Christ
Hebrews 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
Hebrews 2:17-18 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high
priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for
the sins of the people.
Hebrews 5:8-9 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things
which he suffered;
This is not speaking of sinless perfection, Jesus never sinned one time. To be the captain of our salvation, Jesus had to experience trials, suffering etc. these were the necessary finishing touches He needed, to be perfected in His Messiah ship. Perfect (complete) in every respect; having all the necessary qualities.
Jesus Christ as our High Priest can effectively represent us as our advocate, because He himself was tempted.
Heb 4:14-16 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that
is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our
No one likes to think that God would allow us to go through trials and
any sort of tests but that is just not Bible. Yes God already knows the
outcome of any test that we may encounter
Was baby Jesus ready to go to the cross to redeem fallen mankind and then as our High Priest make intercession for His people?
Yes He was without sin. Yes He was the Son of God. Yes He was God manifested in the flesh, but He had to be made perfect by the fire.

How to handle trials
James 1:12 How blessed is the man who endures temptation! When he has passed the test, he will receive the victor's crown of life that God has promised to those who keep on loving him.
James 5:13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray.
1Peter 1:6-7 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if
need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Jesus endured by looking past the trial unto the joy that was ahead. He seen you and I saved by His grace and being with Him for eternity. Hallelujah!
Father knows exactly what we can endure and promises this:
1Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is
common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be
tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a
way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Some things about the church
1Corinthians 6:2-3 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge
the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to
judge the smallest matters?
Revelation 5:9-10 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy
to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain,
and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and
tongue, and people, and nation;
Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
