Messianic Prophecies fulfilled by Jesus Christ

His first Coming

There are many more – I only chose the ones people are familiar with.

        Fulfilled

Genesis 3:15
“seed of the woman”

Psalms 16:10
“not leave soul in hell” Nor see corruption of body

Psalms 22:6-8 “ mocked and scorned while on cross”

Psalms 22:16-18 “pierced hands and feet – gamble for His cloths”

Psalms 34:20 “not one bone broken”

Jeremiah 31:15 “Rachael weeping for children

Isaiah 7:14 “a virgin shall conceive”

Isaiah 9:6 “ a child is born a son is given”…

Isaiah 11:1-3 “stem and branch of Jesse – Spirit of Lord on Him”

Isaiah 40:3-5 “forerunner crying in the wilderness”

Isaiah 42:1-7 “ Christ the servant of the Lord – heals brings prisoners out”

Isaiah 50:6 “spit on face, pullout hair beat His back”

Isaiah 53:1-12 “despised, rejected, carried our sorrows, afflicted, wounded, bruised for our iniquities etc.”

Isaiah 61:1-2 “anointed to….”

Micah 5:2 “born in Bethlehem”

Zechariah 9:9”rides into Jerusalem on donkey”

Zechariah 11:12 “betrayed for 30 pieces of silver”

The odds of one person fulfilling just 8 of these prophecies is 1000,000,000,000,000,000
1 million trillion. According to several mathematicians.

How much is a trillion?  consider:

1 Million seconds = 12 days
1 Billion seconds = 31 years
1 Trillion seconds = 31,688 years

Consider 1 million trillion.   Only Almighty God could have fulfilled His prophetic word.

Jesus Christ fulfilled over 40 major prophecies of the Old Testament.
There are actually around 300 prophecies that are related in some way to Him.

In forensics, DNA evidence will convict a person of a crime based on 1 in 6 billion. Basically out of all the people on earth , the evidence points to only 1 person.

In odds, that is a drop in the ocean compared to the fulfillment of prophecies concerning Jesus Christ as the Messiah.   Praise the Lord!
